Hiya, been reading your bolg, i to went to Woodrough in Bramley around 1978/79 i think, thats what caught my eye, very interesting reading.
I was a child in care at Woodrough Childrens Home Bramley during the middle 1950's..
have you any photographs or contacts?

Hi Nancy - I was at Woodrough around the same time as you. I'm Eamonn Mccann and would of been 6 years old in 1978. The only person I can remember was a carer called Maggie, no one else.

I WOULD TAKE IT OUT AFTER AND FEED IT TO ONE OF THE NEW KIDS,. DID YOU HAVE AN INNICIATION LIKE ME? HI I was at Woodrough around 78-79 too. I was about 6 years old and was looked after by a lovely lady called Maggie. I was in the Thames house. I don't remember anyone else there. The home carried on put changed it's name to "The Oaks" in the mid eighties. My name is Eamonn Mccann - does anyone remember me?
